Superstar Seyi Shay has released some new photos with a theme of “grown and sexy”. The music star was shot by photographer Lakin Ogunbanwo in a series of black and white photos.

Seyi Shay is currently working on her first EP with her International Record Label, Island Records and the Air Brush crooner has bagged several nominations since the past month as she is on the running for the biggest honours at awards like the Nigerian Entertainment Awards 2016 and the All Africa Music Awards 2016.

We are also looking forward to more from Seyi Shay who has begun to place more emphasis on humanitarianism, charity & equality for all, she recently stated that her recent involvement with the United Nations will be followed by more humanitarian work especially for women and children.

Turkish Doctors Reveal The Cause Of Death Of Stella Oduah’s Son

Medical professionals at Nizamiye Hospital in Abuja have told Sahara Reporters what actually killed Stella Oduah’s son, Maxwell Omabuwa Chinedu Etoromi. According to them, the 28-year old died after suffering a brain hemorrhage.

Doctors who spoke with SaharaReporters, anonymously said Mr. Etoromi was admitted into their care from another hospital-Zankli Medical Centre-, but died almost promptly.

40 FAKE NGOs Exploiting IDPs In Borno State- NSCDC

But how can some people be hearltess. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) says it has discovered at least 40 fake non-governmental organisations (NGOs) exploiting internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Borno State.

Ibrahim Abdullahi, commandant of the NSCDC in the state, told NAN in Maiduguri on Sunday that the illegal NGOs were running nothing more than a certified scam by their actions.

“We discovered that many of them who are individual with office are only interested in posing with IDPs going through hardship to access funds from donors.

Ex-Head Of State, Others Named In $1.09b Malabu Oil Deal

Some prominent Nigerians have been named as beneficiaries of the $1.092b Malabu oil deal. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC) is investigating the scandal.

A businessman, who is being grilled by the EFCC over the deal, is believed to have named a former Head of State, a former Senate President, a former National Security Adviser (NSA), some senators, and some serving and former members of the House of Representatives.

All the suspects may soon be invited for interrogation by the EFCC to determine their level of complicity, The Nation learnt at the weekend.

'Joey slept so deeply so I thought it’d be fun adding little props around her just to send some hilarious pictures to our parents and friends,' Laura told BuzzFeed.

World Champion Triathlete, 63, Killed While Cycling After She Is Hit By A Car

A seven-time world champion triathlete has been killed after she was hit by a car while cycling.

Karen McKeachie from Ann Arbor, Michigan, was on her bike near the city of Chelsea on Friday when she was hit by another vehicle.

The 63-year-old elite athlete, who was inducted into the into the USA Triathlon Hall of Fame in 2014, died at the scene.

The Indonesian Ambassador to Nigeria, Harry Purwanto, said the volume of trade between Nigeria and his country reduced to 1.75 billion dollars in 2015 from four billion dollars in 2014.

Man Suffers Electric Shock From Abandoned Pole In Ogun

A 20-year-old apprentice, Rasaq Animasaun, is in coma at a hospital after suffering from electric shock.
Mr. Animasaun unintentionally stepped on a fallen and abandoned electric pole in Ifo town of Ogun State on Sunday.
He lost consciousness after the electric shock, a witness said.
He was subsequently rushed to the General Hospital in Ifo.
Residents of the area blamed the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, IBEDC, for not attending to the fallen pole.

Kidnappers abandon victim as truck driver blocks their escape route

A gang of kidnappers in Aba, Abia State had their plans foiled when a truck driver reportedly blocked their escape route as they tried to escape with their kidnap victim, Mrs. Merit Ikechukwu, at Uratta area in Abia state. 
Mrs. Ikechukwu was reportedly on her way to work when a gang of kidnappers blocked her Toyota Highlander jeep near Stella Marris road, Catholic Church, Umueze road, Aba and kidnapped her.

According to eyewitnesses, the kidnappers blind folded Ikechukwu and drove in her jeep through a bush path, fortunately, residents of the area alerted soldiers who were on patrol, who quickly gave chase to the jeep.
